Abstract
The study examines the impact of public private partnership on innovation with a particular reference to Garki General Hospital, Abuja. Over the years, Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) adopted PPP principles to encourage innovation among workers, yet there is no innovation at work, the workers and hospital still remain as it was years back.  The research design is survey research design and the period of study is years from 2007 to December 5, 2017. The study used structured questionnaire administered to the respondents who the workers of Garki General Hospital, Abuja. The population of the study included 981 workers of the hospital and this was reduced using Taro Yamane formula to arrive at 284 as the sample size. The study employed random sampling method and the questionnaire was design in five point likert scale. The study used mean, test of normality, correction and regression with the aid of econometric view and the finding indicates that there is an association between public private partnership and innovation in Garki General Hospital, Abuja. The study also found that there is a significant relationship between PPP and innovation in Garki General Hospital, Abuja. The recommends that Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) should try as much as possible to monitor the public property in the hand of private individual (Garki General Hospital, Abuja) to ensure total compliance with Government aim of PPP in Nigeria since there is significant relationship between the variables
