 EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES AND GROWTH OF SMALL BUSINESSES IN ABUJA

Abstract
This study examined the effect of educational facilities on the growth of small businesses in FCT, Abuja, Nigeria, using survey research design with a population of 689 small businesses in FCT, Abuja. The sample size is 253 small businesses in Abuja using Taro Yamane formula to determine it. The study used simple random sampling method to select 235 owners or owner-managers of small businesses in Abuja. The method of data collection used was questionnaire which was administered to the respondents. The statistical tool adopted was regression. The findings revealed that there is a positive and insignificant impact of educational facilities on the growth of small businesses in FCT, Abuja. The study recommended that Government Schools and private schools in Abuja should properly monitor on their educational facilities that will enhance learning and managing of small businesses in Abuja, Nigeria.
