Abstract
The study examines the impact of foreign trade policy on manufacturing sector growth in Nigeria. Government of Nigeria have made repeated foreign trade policy such as importation and exportation policies to grow the manufacturing sector in terms of increased in the output of the sector but this sector output is very low. The population is the 36 quoted manufacturing companies in the Nigerian stock exchange and this was used as a sample size. The research design adopted was quantitative research design and the study also tested stationarity of data using unit root test and applying Augmented Dickey Fuller (ADF). Multiple regression and correlation matrix were used with a software statistical package of excel and e-view. The excel was used in analyzing correlation matrix and e-view was used in using data collected from central Bank of Nigeria and National Bureau of Statistics and the findings revealed that the relationship between foreign trade policy and growth of manufacturing sector in Nigeria is insignificant. Other findings were that import does not contribute to manufacturing output in Nigeria and export was also insignificant in realizing output of manufacturing sector in Nigeria. The study suggested that Nigerian Government should try to discourage foreign trade in terms of export and import since manufacturing sector have not been developed to manufactured any capital goods or industrial that can exported into other countries of the world and government should also gradually stop all the imported manufactured goods and this will made Nigeria not to be import dependent country.

Experiencing Malaria Earlier Aggravates the COVID-19 Symptoms Senol Dane Murat Akyuz     ABSTRACT Introduction: In the present study, the effects of the frequency of experienced malaria and flu/cold on the symptom severity in patients with COVID-19 were investigated. Materials and Method: Subjects were those who experienced COVID-19 and recovered. Eighty-one subjects were included in the study. All of them were voluntarily to participate in this study (51 men and 30 women). Out of 81 cases, 48 were expat and 33 were Nigerian. Data was collected by using an online survey. The survey was shared by using social media. Results: The number of symptoms and overall symptom severity were higher in people with 2 or more malaria than in people with 1 or zero malaria in the last year.
